Welcome to The Ultimate Betting Hockey Pool. Started way back when pencils, erasers, calculators and fax machines ruled the pool world, this fun and exciting hockey pool will test your knowledge of hockey, while showing if you have a set of balls to bet it ALL on one game! Add the stress levels of not only watching your favourite team shit the bed and not cover the spread, but cheering on your most hated team to cover the spread!
If you’re new to the pool, it’s super simple. Check out some of the links below on how the pool works.
Want a quick overview?
You start with $20,000. (once your register and pay the fee, you will be granted access to the entire site)
Pick a Fav or Dog to cover the spread for games played on Saturdays and Sundays.
From all the games, you must bet on only 5 games, a minimum 1/3 of your total $$$.
eg. $20k balance – min. 1/3 bet – you must bet a minimum of $6,666 across 5 games. Minimum bet of $100 on any one game.
Then, select ONE game only for the Most Total Goals scored (MTG) in that game.
Strategy? All depends on how like to gamble. It’s up to you! As long as your minimum wager is met every week. Just remember, the season is approximately 30 weeks long.
When the week’s final scores are entered and wagers tabulated, you win or lose your bets depending on the outcome vs the spread and your new total $$$ value is calculated. There are also Bonus $$ given for Most Correct Picks, Perfect Week, and correct game chosen for Most Total Goals! Check the overall standings, and see how you did!
If your budget falls under $500, you are BUSTED… but you can buy back in for another 20k for the following week.

Pick-6
Rules are simple. Pay $5/week, correctly pick 6 games to cover the spread, Win the pot! If no one gets all 6 correct, the pot rolls over to the next week! Pick-6 is a side pool feature which has nothing do to with the overall pool standings.

How We Used to Roll!
The Hockey Betting Pool sample sheet from the 93/94 season! My good friend George Amaro created this pool way back with a simple pool logic of wagering on games vs the spread. Wagering thousands, if not millions of dollars (don’t worry it’s fake cash) on hockey games only to watch your team blow your $1mil wager and sink you to the bottom of the fish tank. No worries though, if you go bust, just buy back in for a clean $20,000 new start! And of course, the side pool Pick 6 can add additional winnings to your pocket!
